It is crucial you follow these instructions. Remember you are mixing wood and water and extra care if needed.
• Prior to using the wooden bowls for the first time, you must rinse them out a couple of times to remove any excess colour.
• Always place on a dark towel to avoid marking floors, be aware with whites and creams.
• When you fill the bowls with water put cold in before the hot water so you do not encourage cracking
• If you drop the bowl it is likely to crack so be careful!
• Do not leave the bowls full of water other than the length of time for the treatment
• After using rinse them with a mild anti bacterial soap and dry them with couch roll.
• Spray our anti bacterial organic sanitiser. You have to use mild chemicals to ensure you do not strip the natural oils and wood. We highly advise Pinks Boutique Organic Sanitiser as this has been tested to cause no problems.
• After sanitizing it is advisable to wipe a small amount of oil- any plain massage oil around the inside of the bowl.
• At the end of the week all bowls should be wiped around with BRIWAX- available in Homebase. This will help hide any tide marks left by water or product and improve waterproofing. Leave for 24hrs to dry. You must do this to ensure the bowl lasts.
• Please note if you have not carried out the above care steps on your bowl your 6 month bowl guarantee will be invalid.
